Residential Director of Engineering
Location: Naples, Florida
Salary: $130,000 – 145,000

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in engineering leadership—preferably in luxury hotel/resort environments, with experience in residential or condominium-style properties.
• Demonstrated expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building systems, preventive maintenance, capital projects, and vendor management.
• Strong financial acumen in budget planning, cost control, and multi-operational oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering department across residential, guest, and public areas—overseeing maintenance, critical systems, and capital improvements
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
• Develop and manage annual capital and operational budgets; ensure cost-effective service delivery and efficient spending
• Oversee vendor partnerships for equipment maintenance, lifecycle planning, and emergency response coordination
• Serve as a senior on-site leader—responding to building emergencies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining resident satisfaction
