The General Manager will lead daily operations for a high-end organic grocer in Miami, driving excellence across retail, service, and team performance. This is a dynamic, customer-focused role requiring an entrepreneurial mindset and strong leadership skills to deliver an elevated shopping experience centered on health, quality, and community. The GM will be instrumental in executing the brand vision while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability.
 
Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail or hospitality leadership experience, ideally in natural grocery, specialty food, or upscale service environments
• Strong operational knowledge in merchandising, purchasing, staffing, and P&L management
• Passion for organic products, wellness, and sustainable sourcing
• Proven track record of building high-performing teams and fostering positive workplace culture
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of store operations, including staffing, training, merchandising, and guest experience
• Manage department leads and ensure alignment with brand standards and company goals
• Drive financial performance through strategic purchasing, inventory control, and labor management
• Cultivate a loyal customer base through consistent service, community engagement, and product education
• Maintain compliance with food safety, labor, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with ownership and leadership on new initiatives, seasonal planning, and store expansion
