Position: Assistant Culinary Director - Multi-Unit Chef 
Location: Charlotte, NC
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 (20% bonus annually)

This role will be directly overseeing the Executive Chef of each location. There are 4 different concepts accross 8 locations. They will report to the Culinary Director and the Chief Culinary Visionary. This is a dynamic restaurant group doing over $50 million annually with a foh/boh staff of 800 plus. 
 
Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience, including multi-unit oversight or corporate-level support for a restaurant group, resort, or hospitality brand.
• Strong Tenure and Proven success in food and labor cost management, with a track record of increasing profitability through inventory control, vendor negotiation, and operational efficiency.
• Expertise in training and developing culinary teams, including implementation of SOPs, onboarding programs, and succession planning across multiple units.

Requirements:

• Collaborated with the Culinary Director to manage daily kitchen operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency in food quality, execution, and safety standards.
• Contributed to the creation, rollout, and standardization of seasonal menus and core recipes, maintaining a cohesive culinary brand identity across all units.
• Led chef development initiatives by implementing training programs, mentoring BOH leadership, and improving retention through culture-building and team engagement.
• Tracked and optimized food and labor costs, leveraging inventory systems and reporting tools to reduce waste and improve overall profitability.
• Partnered with cross-functional teams—including front-of-house leadership, purchasing, and marketing—to align culinary goals with guest satisfaction and promotional strategies.
• Supported new unit openings with kitchen layout planning, staff recruitment, onboarding, and food execution, ensuring operational success from day one.
