Position: Head Chef 
Location: Burlingame, CA (No Relo)
Salary: Up to $95,000 + bonus up to $15,000(performance based)
Benefits: M/D/V, PTO
 
An upscale, full-service Italian restaurant is seeking a hands-on Head Chef to manage all back-of-house operations and lead a seasoned team.
 
 
Responsibilities:

• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise all kitchen personnel
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and execution standards
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and vendor relationships
• Manage food and labor cost budgets and reporting
• Ensure kitchen compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate on seasonal menu planning and daily specials
• Foster a positive kitchen culture built on accountability and respect

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of BOH leadership in upscale or full-service Italian kitchens
• Deep knowledge of Northern Italian ingredients and technique
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with BOH systems, food cost, scheduling, and vendor management
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or Italian) a plus
