Position: Chef Manager
Location: Chicago, IL 
Salary:$60-$75K

A foodservice operation in College Preparatory School sector is hiring a Chef Manager to lead daily kitchen operations, drive team performance, and ensure excellent food quality, safety, and client service.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen functions, including cafeteria and catering
• Hire, train, and develop hourly and salaried staff
• Maintain inventory, purchasing, and vendor management
• Ensure food and labor cost targets are met
• Implement and monitor food safety and sanitation standards
• Coordinate with on-site leadership on service expectations
• Lead promotions and guest satisfaction programs
• Support special events and provide hands-on culinary leadership

Non-Negotiables

• 3+ years of foodservice management experience
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and budget management
• Must pass background check and fingerprint clearance
• Proficiency in MS Office; bilingual a plus
