Assistant Pastry Chef Location: Naples, Florida Salary: $65k
Requirements:
3–7 years of pastry kitchen experience in luxury hotel or resort settings, preferably Forbes Five Star. Strong skills in recipe development, portion control, and quality presentation.
Proven leadership in training and mentoring pastry staff.
Hands-on technical ability—from lamination to dessert plating—maintaining high sanitation and organizational standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing pastry brigade: recruiting, training, supervising, and scheduling team members.
Support recipe development, execute seasonal and event-driven dessert offerings.
Control food costs and inventory; collaborate on purchasing and vendor relations.
Maintain sanitation, safety, and department compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
Be present on the line—preparing baked goods, plated desserts, and specialty items—while supporting pastry leadership in strategic planning and budget control.
