Position: Sous Chef - American Cuisine
Location: SW Minnesota
Pay: Up to $65K DOE

 Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and ensuring food quality.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards and efficiency.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet restaurant guidelines.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Step in for the Head Chef when needed, maintaining smooth kitchen operations.

 
Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cuisines and techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
