The Sous Chef supports the Chef de Cuisine in leading daily culinary operations for a fine dining restaurant within a full-service resort property. This role is hands-on in service, ensuring elevated execution, refined plating standards, and disciplined kitchen operations in a high-expectation environment.
 
 
Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous in a fine dining environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and hold culinary teams accountable
• Solid understanding of food cost controls, inventory management, and high-level service execution

Responsibilities

• Support all back-of-house operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards
• Lead line execution during service while managing prep, scheduling, and kitchen organization
• Partner with the Chef de Cuisine on menu development, cost control, and team development initiatives
