The Executive Chef is responsible for leading all culinary operations for a high-volume steakhouse restaurant within a casino property in suburban San Diego. This role drives kitchen leadership, elevated food quality, and financial performance while ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment.
 
Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume steakhouse or upscale restaurant
• Preferred experience working within a casino or large hospitality property
• Strong knowledge of food cost controls, labor management, and team leadership

Responsibilities

• Oversee all back-of-house operations, ensuring consistent execution, quality, and presentation standards
• Manage staffing, scheduling, ordering, and cost controls to meet financial targets
• Lead, train, and mentor the culinary team while maintaining food safety and operational compliance standards
