The Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef is responsible for leading culinary operations for a high-volume restaurant, retail, and event-driven hospitality venue in Nashville. This role is highly hands-on, actively working on the line while managing kitchen operations, ensuring consistent food quality, strong team leadership, and efficient execution across daily service and event programming.
 
Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or strong Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume operation
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to actively cook and lead during service
• Strong knowledge of food cost controls, kitchen systems, and team development

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily back-of-house operations while actively participating in food production and service
• Manage ordering, inventory, labor scheduling, and cost controls to meet financial goals
• Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
