Salary: $65k+ (this is a sales based position with an hourly rate + sales %)

An award‑winning waterfront wedding and event venue is looking for a Special Events Sales Consultant to join their team! 
 
Qualifications: 

• 3-5 years in catering sales, hospitality, or luxury sales (required).
• College education preferred.
• Strong selling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Sales Technique of understanding the needs and desires of the potential client first and building events accordingly.
• Comfortable with numbers, sales metrics, and contract pricing.
• Proficiency with software such as Caterease, Outlook, Google, Canva, Excel, and Word.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays regularly.

Responsibilities: 

• Meet with wedding couples and clients to understand their vision and build trust.
• Lead engaging venue tours showcasing premier waterfront event spaces.
• Create personalized cost proposals and collaborate on creative event ideas.
• Identify and qualify leads, converting inquiries into bookings.
• Build relationships through targeted outreach and networking.
• Manage your sales pipeline, scheduling impactful client appointments.
• Negotiate contracts 
• Collaborate closely with your teammates to meet and exceed sales goals.
