Salary: $80k-$85k base

Casual upscale, scratch kitchen restaurant seeks a Sous Chef with stable, high volume experience in Modern American and Mexican cuisines to join their team! The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef in all areas of culinary execution, training and assisting the BOH team. Strong potential for growth & promotability.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Sous Chef experience in a NYC restaurant
- Knowledge & experience with Mexican cuisine including classic dishes and sauces
- Spanish- at least kitchen level is a must
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all BOH execution
- Manage, train and mentor kitchen team
- Contribute to menu development, vendor relations, ordering & cost control
