Highly established Casino seeks an experienced Controller with Casino experience.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience required, with a minimum of five years accounting/finance management experience. CPA or MBA preferred.
• Knowledge of gaming regulatory requirements, including NIGC MICS and Oklahoma State Compact.
• Experience with and knowledge of applicable federal/state/local reporting requirements.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger account reconciliation and capital budgeting.
• Strong leadership skills and customer service orientation required.
• Must have experience with applicable federal/state/local laws and regulations relating to operations.
• Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
• Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products with high level of Excel skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provides leadership direction as assigned in accordance with the casino organizational structure.
•  Oversee Cash Operations, Drop/Count Team, Revenue Audit, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger.
•  Establishes, or recommends to management, economic strategies, objectives, and policies for casino.
•  Prepares reports, which sum and forecast casino business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• Directs preparation of budgets and reviews budget proposals.
• Prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification of budget reports
•  Monitor budget plans in order to meet the property's goals
•  Participate in monthly business planning sessions and financial reviews
