Casino in Portsmouth, VA seeks a Risk Manager!
Responsibilities:
- Oversees the property's comprehensive safety, risk, and compliance program to protect assets, guests, and employees.
- Manages and investigates all incidents and claims (guest, employee, property) and liaises with insurers and third-party administrators.
- Develops, implements, and audits safety policies, training programs, and ensures compliance with regulations like OSHA.
- Administers the Complimentary Privileges Program and handles sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
- Leads the Safety Committee, drives process improvements, and advises leadership on risk trends and mitigation strategies.
- Serves as the primary contact for external safety and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Minimum 3-5 years' risk management and 3-5 years' multi-line claims handling and insurance program administration experience preferred.
