Dynamic resort in Waimea seeks a dedicated General Manager for their beachfront eatery.
 
Qualifications

• Strong leadership and restaurant management experience — typically a four-year degree or six years of progressively responsible food & beverage leadership, with the ability to supervise teams, manage operations, and uphold hotel service standards.
• Operational and financial expertise — proficiency in scheduling, labor control, payroll, cost management, and P&L analysis; capable of creating SOPs, managing inventories, and supporting beverage program oversight.
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills — able to interact effectively with guests, staff, and hotel leadership; skilled at resolving issues, supporting VIP service, and maintaining a friendly, polished presence while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

 
Responsibilities
 

• Lead daily restaurant operations and uphold all service, quality, and safety standards — ensure food, beverage, and guest service consistently meet or exceed hotel expectations; manage guest flow, reservations, VIP needs, and compliance with all alcohol and health regulations.
• Drive financial performance and operational efficiency — oversee labor management, scheduling, payroll, cost control, and P&L performance; implement marketing initiatives, develop SOPs, and maintain inventory and supply levels to support revenue growth and profitability.
• Manage and develop the restaurant team — hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff; maintain a strong service culture; conduct regular team communication; resolve guest and employee concerns; and collaborate with hotel leadership on beverage programs, budgeting, and department goals.
