Malibu Beachfront restaurant is looking for a Sous Chef.
-Wants a local Candidate
-Will most likley work the AM shift
- B/L/D & IRD (24 Hour) - Restaurant is 7AM-10PM

Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Assume the responsibilities of the Chef or Culinary manager in his/her absence
Coordinate and ensure the smooth and efficient flow of the culinary operations in the kitchen
Maintain and enhance the food products through creative menu development and presentation
Assist in the preparation of the annual Culinary Plan and achieve the profit objectives therein
Ensures the consistent implementation and delivery of all LQA Service Essentials and Standards
Conduct shift briefings to Kitchen team
Promote Fun / Professional / Disciplined work environment
Support / Coach, Lead & Motivate the culinary employees
Handles all guest concerns and feedback to ensure effective follow up
Assist in staff planning and the maintenance of productivity levels
Update and ensure timely awareness of the hotel’s Business Continuity, Emergency and Crisis Management Plans
Provide active leadership in the culture of Health and Safety and accident prevention
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned
