Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in East Anglia, are looking for an experienced HR Adviser to join their team and play a crucial role within their human resources  operations.  

Position: HR Adviser (Generalist) 
Rate: £23.05 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (July 2026) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Purpose: 

• Provide comprehensive information, professional advice and guidance to managers, employees and other stakeholders. They deliver a high quality, progressive, equitable and inclusive employment experience for all employees.

Job Duties: 

• Developing and implementing HR policies and associated documents/schemes in support of the People Management Strategy and legislative requirements. 
• Developing, oversight and management of our workforce equality, diversity and inclusion plan. 
• Providing specialist professional advice, guidance and subject matter expertise to support people management projects and issues, cultural change and strategic priorities.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a HR Adviser role or equivalent.
• Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
