Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in London, are looking for an Adult Social Worker to maintain the independence and wellbeing of adults within the community. 

Position: Adults Social Worker 
Rate: Maximum pay rate will be in line with the London Borough Agreement Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
- Confident Adult Social Worker with at least 2 years experience
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with SWE 
- Social Work Qualification and Practice Educator Professional Standards Training.

Purpose:

• Working with Adults with a range of needs, supporting with their wellbeing, independence and dignity. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Multi Agency working, including professionals and families, to achieve best outcomes inline with personalised care plans. 
• Managing caseloads and taking the lead of cases requiring specialist knowledge. 
• Undertake Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Act assessments, Best Interest decisions and Section 117/42 reviews.
• Coordinating packages of care and advocating where statutory services are limited

Experience of managing risk within a community setting is essential, as well as strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Care Act 2014, and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
