JOB ROLE

We are seeking mid- to senior-level associates to join our clients Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group. This dynamic team of attorneys advise clients across the full lifecycle of their most valuable assets, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, trade secrets, and related matters.

The IP Litigation team brings together deep trial and appellate experience, strategic insight, and strong technical knowledge to enforce and defend clients’ intellectual property rights. The team represents leading global companies, with a particular focus on life sciences, consumer goods, and high-technology industries.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Handle complex IP litigation matters in federal district courts and/or ITC proceedings
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and support trial strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on high-stakes cases
• Work directly with clients on sophisticated and high-profile matters

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Minimum of 4 years of substantive IP litigation experience
• Experience with federal district court and/or ITC proceedings preferred
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
• Creative problem-solving skills and sound professional judgment
• Excellent academic credentials and strong references
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Software Programming, Life Sciences, or a related field would be preferred
