Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in the West Midlands, are looking for Senior Practitioners to join their Assessment and Intervention Teams. 

Position: Senior Practitioner – Assessment & Intervention
Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: 3 - 6 months (Rolling)

Purpose:
You will act as the first point of contact following a referral, conducting robust assessments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children while providing short-term interventions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive Child and Family Assessments and Section 47 enquiries to identify risks and needs.
• Develop and implement short-term support plans for Children in Need (CiN) and children subject to Child Protection (CP) plans.
• Work within the "Signs of Safety" framework to engage families and empower them to create sustainable safety plans.
• Manage the seamless transition and transfer of cases to long-term safeguarding teams where ongoing support is required.

Job Requirements:

• Social Work England (SWE) Registration and a degree in Social Work are essential.
• Significant experience in frontline Safeguarding, Assessment, or MASH environments.
• Proficiency in using the Signs of Safety practice model and relevant legislation (Children Act 1989).
• Excellent report writing skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume caseload.
