Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a national law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Associate to join their Disputes & Investigations team based in Melbourne.

JOB ROLE

• All facets of financial regulatory issues, commercial litigation, and dispute settlement are covered by the Disputes & Investigations group.
• Joining a vibrant, well-respected team with an existing portfolio of varied clients and matters, you will collaborate closely with partners in Melbourne and throughout the national offices.
• You will be working with ASX listed companies, corporate regulators, private corporations, and high net worth individuals.
• You will offer advice on a wide range of controversial issues, such as commercial and contractual disputes, misleading or deceptive conduct, regulatory matters, directors/shareholders disputes, and negligence claims.
• Large-scale, complicated disputes involving reputational risk are of special concern to the team.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE 

• With at least one year of experience as a Senior Associate in the Disputes & Investigations group, you will have between five to eight years of experience.
• Your capacity to assign, oversee, and guide junior attorneys in a welcoming and encouraging manner will be greatly appreciated.
• My client is looking for people who have solid working understanding of case management techniques and commercial litigation from private practice.
• Litigation experience in the Supreme Court of Victoria's Commercial Court will be highly valued.
• Additionally, you will exhibit a proactive, solution-focused approach, great interpersonal and business development abilities, and commercial acumen.
