Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Housing Litigation Lawyer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Legal Operation

Position: Housing Litigation Lawyer
Rate:  £55 ph Umbrella
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Job Duties: 

• To undertake advocacy on behalf of the Local Authorities in courts and tribunals, where this is part of the work of the team.
• To draft complex reports and legal documentation.
• To deliver seminars or briefings to clients, colleagues, service users, Members and others.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor or barrister (Supreme Court of England and Wales/English Bar) or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives
• Experience of using a case management system.
• Experienced Housing Litigation Lawyer within a local authority.
