Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in Bristol, are looking for an Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) to work within Children’s Services.
  
Position: Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO)
Rate: £47.50 per hour 
Contract Duration: TBC 

Purpose:
Overseeing and quality assuring the care planning and review process for children and young people in care, ensuring their best interests are promoted and their voices are heard.
  
Job Responsibilities:

• Chairing child in care reviews and overseeing care planning processes
• Monitoring progress of care plans and ensuring timely outcomes
• Ensuring children’s wishes and feelings are fully considered
• Working closely with social work teams, CAFCASS, and partners
• Challenging practice appropriately using dispute resolution processes

Job Requirements:

• Previous IRO and quality assurance experience
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel
• Ability to work remotely and attend the office/visits when required
• Flexible working approach with strong workload management skills
• Registered with Social Work England with extensive statutory experience
