Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in East London, are looking for an Adult Senior Practitioner to work within the DoLS Team.

Position: Adults Senior Practitioner (NON CASEHOLDING)
Contract Duration: 4 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
- Confident Adult Social Worker with at least 2 years experience
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with SWE 
- Social Work Qualification and Practice Educator Professional Standards Training.

Purpose:

• Working with Adults with a range of needs, supporting with their wellbeing, independence and dignity. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Administration and operation of Supervisory Body functions including DoLs BIA work, S21A process and Community DoLs.
• Legal and statutory duties of the post as required by the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.
• Supervision and guidance to staff, with their complex cases.
• Managing risk within a community setting is essential, as well as strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Care Act 2014, and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
