• PAY RATE: $310,000 - $390,000 Per Annum

JOB ROLE

A leading international law firm is seeking an associate to join its innovative Technology Transactions & Privacy practice. This role is available across multiple office locations.

The successful candidate will work on a wide range of complex and cutting-edge matters involving technology, intellectual property, and data-driven business models. The position offers exposure to high-profile clients, including established companies and emerging ventures.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Drafting and negotiating licensing and technology agreements
• Advising on intellectual property and commercial technology matters
• Supporting M&A and financing transactions
• Assisting with transactions involving emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain
• Advising start-ups and growth-stage companies on development, manufacturing, and product launch strategies

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience in one or more of the areas listed above
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following sectors: enterprise software, cloud services, outsourcing, artificial intelligence, blockchain, fintech and payment systems, mobile applications, e-commerce, interactive entertainment (including gaming), digital content, and/or hardware
• Prior experience at a top-tier (AmLaw 50 or equivalent) law firm
• Strong academic credentials
