• PAY RATE: $310,000 - $390,000 Per Annum

JOB ROLE

Join a leading global law firm’s Investment Management Group, where you will work at the forefront of innovation in the funds industry.

The team advises funds, fund sponsors, underwriters and service providers on the full lifecycle of registered investment companies from structuring and launch through to operation, financing and regulatory compliance. This includes closed-end funds, mutual funds, ETFs and business development companies. We also provide strategic corporate and regulatory advice to boards of directors.


JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Advise on the structuring, offering and ongoing management of investment funds
• Work on complex financing strategies, including preferred stock and leverage structures
• Support innovative fund products, including listed, non-traded and privately offered vehicles
• Assist with rights offerings and other capital-raising initiatives
• Collaborate with M&A teams on Investment Company Act (1940 Act) matters in asset manager transactions

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Strong interest in investment funds and financial regulation
• Excellent analytical and drafting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across practice areas
• Experience or familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940 is advantageous
• 4 - 6 years PQE
• Experience of working within an Investment Management or Large Law Firm
