Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in East Coast of England, are looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team and play a crucial role within their housing operations.  

Position: Resident Liaison Officer
Rate: £19.90 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (July 2026) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Purpose: 

• The key aims and objectives of the WH:W3 are to tackle fuel poverty, improve the comfort and health of residents. The works must minimise the risk of poor internal air quality, effectively manage moisture internally and not increase the energy costs to tenants.

Job Duties: 

• Key part of the role is building trust and a rapport with residents, the candidate must also be capable of following procedures and being firm but fair.
• These will include (but are not limited to) providing advice and outlining the aims and objective to tenants of the programme. 
• You will spend a good deal of your time visiting tenants and engaging with them, removing the barriers which stop our contractors from gaining access to homes.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation - Desirable. 
• Dealing with the public in difficult situations. 
• Good IT skills i.e. proficient in Microsoft packages.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
