Role: Conveyancing Assistant
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience
Location: Sheffield
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience


Job Description The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:


• Supporting the conveyancing team with administrative and legal matters relating to the sale and purchase of residential property.
• Preparing legal documents and correspondence accurately and efficiently.
• Issuing sale contracts and dealing with enquiries and mortgage redemptions.
• Providing support across all aspects of residential sale and purchase transactions, both pre‑ and post‑completion.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, agents, and other third parties involved in the conveyancing process.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring files are kept up to date.
• Delivering a consistently high standard of client care.
• Supporting the smooth progression of transactions to completion.

The Successful Candidate The ideal candidate will have:


• At least three years’ experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or Conveyancing Paralegal.
• A good understanding of compliance requirements and the ability to meet required standards.
• Experience handling residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to post‑completion.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and third parties.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Experience using case management systems.
• Familiarity with the Land Registry portal, SDLT online submission system, and lender portals.
• A proactive, team‑focused approach with a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
