Job Title: Conveyancing Lawyer
Location: Office‑based, Battersea.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:30pm.
Employment Type: Full‑time. (Open to locum candidates to start ASAP.)


Key Responsibilities • Managing and assisting with all aspects of residential and commercial property transactions.
• Conducting title checks, property searches, and due diligence.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and related documentation.
• Maintaining accurate case records and documentation, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Providing administrative and legal support to partners and fee earners across the property department.
• Assisting with post‑completion matters, including registrations and Stamp Duty submissions.

Key Requirements • A minimum of five years’ PQE with a strong background in property law, either residential and/or commercial.
• UK‑qualified solicitor.
• Ability to commute to Battersea.
• Proven experience handling a high‑volume caseload.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Strong client‑facing and relationship‑management abilities.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in case management systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, professional environment.
