Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking for a Property Solicitor to join their team in Dorset. 

Position: Property Solicitor (Commercial & Residential)                   
Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience

Work Type: Permanent   

THE ROLE 

Our client is looking for an experienced Property Solicitor to handle a mixed caseload of Commercial and Residential property matters. The successful candidate will provide practical and client-focused advice to businesses, individuals, developers and investors whilst maintaining a high-level of technical accuracy and compliance. 

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Manage a varied caseload of property matters including sales, purchases, leases and landlord/tenant work. 
• Advise clients on leasehold and freehold acquisitions and disposals. 
• Draft and review contracts, leases and legal documents. 
• Generate new work by building relationships with existing and prospective clients to contribute to business development activities. 
• Maintain accurate time recording, billing and file management in line with the firms procedures and regulatory requirements. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• Qualified solicitor with 4+ years PQE in Commercial and/or Property matters.
• Strong knowledge of landlord/tenant matters and conveyancing practices. 
• Excellent communicator, both verbally and non-verbally. 
• Proficient in using Case Management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
