Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in South West London, are looking for an experienced Lawyer to join their team and play a crucial role within their Finance Operation

Position: Payroll Officer
Rate: £54,000 - £62,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Arrangement: 1 day in Office a week
Job Purpose: 

• This role will involve providing legal advice and representation in a range of Adult Social Care matters, with a particular focus on Court of Protection work and Mental Health law.

Job Duties: 

• Manage a caseload of Adult Social Care and Education legal matters.
• Conduct Welfare and Section 21A applications in the Court of Protection.
• Provide advice relating to Ordinary Residence matters.
• Attend hearings and provide advocacy where required.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with relevant practicing certificate.
• Proven experience in Adult Social Care law.
