Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a national law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Associate to join their Real Estate team based in Melbourne.

JOB ROLE

• Working closely with a partner and their team, you will provide advice on real estate and development transactions, especially those involving government-led deals, commercial and industrial real estate, and development initiatives.
• With a broad practice, this group offers advice on a range of topics, including development agreements, substantial leases, tenure concerns, property-related aspects of large projects, and financings for real estate.
• A lawyer with over three years of post-admission experience in property or real estate, a broad range of property skills, and a desire for a laid-back work atmosphere without sacrificing quality or work mix would be a good fit for this role.
• The position will require both teamwork and individual problem solving.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE 

• Shown expertise in a variety of real estate transactions, with a preference for experience in large-scale projects or property development.
• Proficiency in professional and efficient written and oral communication
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the capacity to establish connections with stakeholders and coworkers fast
• Capacity to collaborate and guide junior attorneys and support personnel to guarantee high-quality results and efficient matter handling
• Shown capacity for rapid knowledge acquisition and curiosity for the sectors of your clients
• Shown ability to proactively manage priorities and schedules within a team
• Cooperative approach to work with a focus on finding answers
