Job Role: Housing Solutions Reviews Officer
Temporary or Permanent: Temp
Possible End Date: Until May 2026 (possible extension)
Number of Positions: 4 positions available
Location: Lambeth
Office Based/Hybrid: Temp
Rate of Pay: £36.72 p/h umbrella

Short Brief/Requirement:

• To ensure that statutory decisions are able to withstand, political, media and legal scrutiny.
• To provide effective, professional Review and Appeal service on behalf of the Housing Service.
• To liaise with external partners and carry out statutory review enquiries and proceedings prior to review decisions
• To work professionally with service users, their representatives and other agencies involved with Reviews and Appeals.
• To manage and control the use of costly temporary accommodation during the review and Court appeal process.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience working as a Housing Solutions Reviews Officer or equivalent
• 12 months or more experience of undertaking Homelessness Part 7 s202 reviews
• Have a proven understanding of the Review Regulations, Homelessness Code of Guidance, relevant case law, and the Housing Act 1996(as amended)
