Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in the North, are looking for an experience Youth Justice Practitioner to work with children and young people in the community to keep them safe.

Position: Youth Justice Practitioner
Rate: £22.22 p/h (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
Youth Justice Service Experience
Enhanced DBS required for this position

Purpose:

• Provide high-quality services with partners that help safeguard, support and promote the welfare of children, young people and families across the District.
  

Job Responsibilities: 

• Undertake high quality assessments to assess risk of reoffending and safety of children.
• Deliver plans and interventions to prevent antisocial behaviour.
• Report writing for court cases and case management meetings, specifically around CIN an CP 
• Liaise with a range of professionals including schools/ education providers, Police, fire service, health care, Children’s
  Social Care and the Probation Service

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a Youth Justice and Offending
• Experience with holding own caseload, producing high quality assessments and reports.
