Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Southeast England, are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team and play a crucial role in their  operations.

Position: Finance Business Partner
Rate: Up to £43 Per Hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (August 2026) Possible Extension   

Purpose:

Experience in Education & in-depth knowledge of dedicated schools grant requirements and regulations.

Extensive SEND / High Needs finance experience

• A finance specialist, providing a professional finance and accounting service with the highest possible standards of compliance, advice and support and resolving requests and cases. Deliver organisational changes and finance developments across the council in line with the corporate strategy.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To analyse and report on key financial data within the organisation ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Finance Business Partner role or equivalent.
• Must have experience in Education & in-depth knowledge of dedicated schools grant requirements and regulations.
• Must have extensive SEND / High Needs finance experience.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
