Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join their team and play a crucial role within their housing management operations.  

Position: Asset Manager
Rate: £36.26 per hour (Umbrella, Outside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (June 2026) Possible Extension  

Job Purpose: 

• Deliver effective asset management across the Council’s residential and commercial portfolio, implementing the Asset Management Strategy.

Job Duties: 

• Provide expert technical and compliance contributions for capital programmes and asset-related projects, ensuring regulatory standards are met and asset performance is optimised.
• Undertake asset reviews, option appraisals, and help create programmes in collaboration with internal teams to embed Decent Homes, safety, sustainability, and financial asset considerations into technical delivery.
• Coordinate the delivery of asset-related projects and programmes with internal teams, contractors and consultants, ensuring quality, compliance and value for money.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Asset Manager role or equivalent.
• Commercial property management - Desirable. 
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
