Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Housing Solutions Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their homelessness prevention operations.  

Position: Housing Solutions Officer (Triage) 
Rate: £27.48 (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (July 2026) with Possible Extension  

Job Responsibilities: 

• To give appropriate advice and information to personal and telephone
  callers to the Housing Solutions Service.
• To assess, administer and maintain all Housing Register Applications (Part VI of the Housing Act). To ensure cases are properly assessed and applicants informed.
• To register housing reviews under s.202 / s.167 and to allocate cases and to ensure that they are brought to the attention of the allocated caseworker.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Housing Solutions Officer role or equivalent.
• Experience and knowledge in line with Part 6 and Part 7 of the Housing Act. 
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
