Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in the West Midlands, are looking for a Children Senior Practitioner to work within a Front door service, supporting with Duty Work.

Position: Senior Practitioner - Front Door, duty work. 
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
- High quality safeguarding skills within Children Services 
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with SWE 
- Social Work Qualification

Purpose:

• Completing Section 47's and progressing cases to ICPC, Short term intervention teams.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Duty work, including referrals and assessments for CIN, providing advice to meet child needs.
• 1-1 Support and group supervision, to ensure team standards are met in line with child safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Protection and safeguarding of children and young people. working directly with other teams and resources. 

Job Requirements:

• 3 years experience, within English Local Authority.
• Experience within a Front door, Duty team.
• Case management, Assessment and Intervention, Safeguarding 
• Experience with holding own caseload, producing high quality assessments and reports.
