Role: Wills, Trusts & Probate Lawyer Experience: 3+ Years PQE (Solicitor / CILEX)
Location: Hertford (Hybrid)
Salary: Dependent on experience


Job Description The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Taking client instructions and preparing Wills, LPAs and General Powers of Attorney (simple to complex).
• Managing probate and estate administration files.
• Identifying inheritance tax reliefs and administering intestate estates in line with intestacy rules.
• Undertaking trust administration.
• Acting as an ambassador for the firm by engaging in networking and business development activities.

The Successful Candidate The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years’ PQE in Wills, Trusts, Probate and broader Private Client work.
• STEP qualification or progress towards STEP (desirable but not essential).
• Strong technical knowledge in trusts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to support clients with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent drafting skills.
• A proactive, hardworking attitude and willingness to contribute positively to team culture.
