Role: Family Care Solicitor / Legal Executive
Experience: 5+ Years PQE
Location: Sunderland

Job Description The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of family care matters.
• Representing clients across public and private law proceedings.
• Working collaboratively with an experienced Family Care Team and wider support staff.
• Providing high‑quality legal advice while maintaining excellent client care standards.
• Supporting the continued development and growth of the department.
• Upholding the firm’s values in all interactions with clients and colleagues.

The Successful Candidate The ideal candidate will have:

• 5+ years’ PQE within Family Care.
• Membership of the Law Society’s Children Panel.
• Experience handling a diverse caseload of family care cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage sensitive matters effectively.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
• A proactive, empathetic and client‑focused approach.
• Commitment to delivering results and working collaboratively as part of a high‑performing team.
