Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in West London, are looking for a Children's Social Workers to work within the Children in Care team.

Position: Social Worker - CIC
Rate: £33.30 p/h (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: 3 months with Possible Extension 
Essentials: 
- High quality Social Work skills within Children Services 
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Registered with SWE 
- Social Work Qualification

Purpose:

• Hold and support with care proceeding with transfers to correct team from initial court hearings. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Manage an average case load of 17 children who are in long term care, residential or supported accommodations.
• Assess permanency in a timely manner to ensure that children's needs are in line with care and pathway plans,
• Professional leadership across team, to meet the needs of CIN, CP, LAC and care leavers/fostered children.

Job Requirements:

• 3 years experience, within English Local Authority.
• Experience within a CIC team.
• Experience with holding own caseload, producing high quality assessments and reports.
