Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Hampshire, are looking for an experienced Plumber to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Operations operations. 

Position: Plumber
Rate: £23 Per Hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temporary (3 Months) Possible Extension   

Purpose:

• To carry out a range of construction and property maintenance activities including inspection, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs solutions to a range of buildings across multiple sites and contracts and promote Housing Operations.

Job Responsibilities: 

• To undertake fault finding/diagnosis and/or problem solving on-site to determine the scope of works required with considerable demand for both speed and precision of the proposed remedial actions in accordance with policies.
• Interpret design plans, drawings, specifications and written instructions correctly.
• Communicate with customers, show proof of identity, explain the purpose and nature of the work, arrange appointments, note any enquiries/complaints and respond or report as appropriate and in a manner, which maintains public confidence in the service.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• At least 1 year experience within a Plumber role or equivalent. 
• To have served a recognised apprenticeship to a Level 2-3 qualification in Plumbing or equivalent with 3 years’ experience of working in the domestic, commercial construction & maintenance environment
• Current Full UK Driving License in order to drive a vehicle.  
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
