Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, based in South East London are looking for a Service Manager to work in the Family Safeguarding Service.

Position: Service Manager - Family Safeguarding. 
Rate: £400 p/d (Umbrella) 

Essentials: 
- Confident Service Manager with at least 2 years experience, along with previous frontline experience. 
- Enhanced DBS required for this position
- Recognised Social Work Qualification 
- Registered with Social Work England

Purpose:

Responsible for safe and excellent delivery of childrens services, in a multi-agency context, to contribute to driving current and future strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Day to day operational business in the service area, to promote best interest of children in line with frameworks. 
• Management of staff and service, to ensure government policies, legislation, and procedures are delivered at a high standard. 
• Budget and expenditure management to ensure resources are optimised. 

Job Requirements:

• 3 years experience, within English Local Authority.
• Experience within Service management, including development and quality assurance.
• High level knowledge of children social care services, legislation , policies and procedures.
