Our client, based in the East of England, are looking for a Youth Justice Officer to manage a caseload of children in the youth justice system. 

Position: Youth Justice Officer
Rate: £23 per hour 
Contract Type: Temporary, Hybrid Working 

Purpose:

• Managing a caseload of children, professionally and comprehensively, to prevent risk of reoffending and being in the youth justice system. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Risk, Safety and Needs assessments 
• SMART Interventions 
• 1:1 sessions and family based communications within a variety of settings. 
• Attending Court, provided both written and spoken reports. 
• Multiagency working - police, CSC, Health and Education 

Job Requirements:

• Youth work experience 
• Assessment and intervention knowledge 
• Previous court attendance and report writing/speaking skills.
