Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Essex, are looking for an experienced Digital Services Manager to join their team and play a crucial role within their digital operations.  

Position: Digital Services Manager (Part-Time/3 days)
Rate: £31.94 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: Temporary (July 2026) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (Once a week in the office)

Job Purpose: 

• An interim resource for management and delivery of digital services across the council. 

Job Duties: 

• Manage teams, managing digital products and services, building relationships across the businesses and creating continuous improvement of live services.
• Act as escalation points, oversee incident, problem and service requests. 
• Use resident and Officer feedback to improve digital experiences. 
• Ensure service meet information governance, data protection and Security requirements. 
• Use project management skills to deliver improvement projects

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Experience managing and delivering digital services in a complex organisation. 
• Technical skills with the Microsoft stack and development experience. 
• Knowledge of information governance, data protection, and security requirements in digital services.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
