Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Adult Team Manager to join their team based in Bristol 
   
JOB DETAILS
PAY RATE: £40 - £48 per hour  
WORK TYPE: Temporary
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
LOCATION: Bristol 
   
JOB SUMMARY
The Team manager will be responsible for the effective day to day management and leadership of the Service, coordinating available resources, contributing to strategic objectives and outcomes of the service and ensuring safe and effective delivery of support to citizens, carers and families
  
JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Managing the work of the Service and individuals to ensure Service objectives are met and ensure professional regulatory standards are met
• Providing leadership to the Service, ensuring staff are motivated to deliver personal and team objectives and are well supported. Ensuring all staff activity within the Service meets agreed business processes and is customer focused
• Responsible for the supervision and appraisal of designated staff, managing attendance and performance across the Service providing clear expectations and initiating appropriate actions where necessary. Manage staff using relevant policies & procedures
• Continuously develop own knowledge and skills and those of the Service, to meet objectives, identify and arrange appropriate training/development opportunities including supporting effective staff induction.

  
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Relevant Qualifications, with a registered body in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and experience of working in a Health or Social Care setting
• Experience of managing staff or a service and ability to form, maintain and lead by example effective working relationships with all stakeholders including citizens, carers and other agencies
• Experience of managing or contributing towards the effective allocation of financial resources
