Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Law Firm, who are looking for a Marine Solicitor to join their team in Devon. 

Position: Marine Solicitor                  
Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience        
Location: Devon                         
Work Type: Permanent   

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Cover work with P&I, Defence, collisions, pollution and total losses. Non-contentious work will also be included.
• Represent the department at networking events/opportunities . 
• Regularly engage with clients to keep build and maintain professional relationships. 
• Partake in research to develop your marine law knowledge, being able to provide the best support possible to your clients. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: 

• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years in civil litigation (marine experience preferred but not essential). 
• Strong communicator, both verbally and non-verbally. 
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Be passionate about the marine sector.
