Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a global law firm, who are looking to recruit an experienced Associate to join their Immigration team based in New Jersey.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Five years of full-time experience practicing employment-based and corporate immigration law is required for this client-facing, non-shareholder track job, which will support the Shareholder/Client Team.
• The ideal applicant will be extremely driven, diligent, imaginative, and inquisitive.
• Strong analytical abilities and a thorough understanding of a variety of non-immigrant classifications, such as H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, E-2, J-1, O-1, and USMCA/TN, as well as a solid grasp of business immigration policy, the PERM labor certification process, EB-1s, and National Interest Waivers, are required.
• Additionally, a background in employment eligibility verification is required.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Licensed to practice in New Jersey
• Five years PQE as minimum 
• I-9 Compliance, DOL, DHS and DOJ audits experience
