Position: Assistant Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparing accounts (including incomplete records work and bookkeeping for various clients).
• Supporting with tax and compliance work.
• Communicating with clients in a clear, friendly, and professional manner.
• Spotting opportunities to improve processes and suggesting solutions.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Ideally 2 years experience in a similar practice role (qualified or equivalent experience).
• Working towards AAT/ACCA/ACA or QBE (with additional experience).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident with accounting/tax software and HMRC processes.
• Local and able to attend the office most of the time.
