Job Role: Painter & Decorator
Temporary or Permanent: Temp
Possible End Date: 6 months (possible extension)
Number of Positions: 9 positions available
Location: Lewisham
Driving Licence Required: Yes
Vehicle Access Required: TBC
DBS Required: Basic DBS required
Rate of Pay: £25 p/h umbrella



Short Brief/Requirement:

• To be responsible for completing a wide range of painting and decorating tasks in both occupied and void properties throughout the Borough of Lewisham.
• To ensure works are completed to a high standard with a focus on customer satisfaction and a positive resident experience.
• To assist in maintaining homes in a good decorative condition as part of planned and responsive maintenance works.
• To support damp and mould prevention efforts by carrying out mould washing treatments in line with manufacturer guidance and health and safety standards

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience working as a Painter & Decorator or equivalent
• Qualified and competent in painting and decorating (City & Guilds and/or NVQ or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence
• Painting and decorating methods and materials 
• Health and safety requirements for decorating works
• Basic awareness of damp and mould indicators
